Donetsk, Feb 14 – DAN. The Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 35 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 450 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 35 times expending 460 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The Ukrainian army delivered strikes at the Alexandrovka and Trudovskaya neighbourhoods in western Donetsk, the Volvo Centre area and the Spartak, Zhabichevo and Vesyoloye villages north of the capital, Yasinovataya, Dolomitnoye in northern Gorlovka and the Sosnovskoye, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in the south of the Republic, he added.
A shop and a utility shed in Kominternovo sustained shelling damage.
The enemy employed mortars, anti-aircraft guns, infantry fighting vehicle cannons and small arms.
Earlier reports on Thursday said that a house in the Dolomitnoye neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka was damaged in overnight shelling by Ukrainian forces.*jk
