Donetsk, Jun 25 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 15 times expending 323 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at the city airport, the Spartak,Trudovskaya Colliery and Alexandrovka neighbourhoods in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk, Gorlovka’s Dolomitnoye and Gagarin Colliery neighbourhoods, Yasinovataya and the Bezymennoye, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR, he added.
The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Updated JCCC reports said that 15 houses and utility sheds were damaged or destroyed in the DPR over the past 24 hours.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired 170 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
