Donetsk, Jun 19 – DAN. The security subgroup of the Minsk Contact Group has not reached an agreement on additional measures to control the ceasefire implementation in Donbass, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
“Unfortunately, today the negotiators have not managed to fulfill the Contact’s Group task to approve a compromise on the additional measures to control the ceasefire implementation,” she said.
On the previous day, she said, the DPR has sent the OSCE a draft statement on recommitment to ceasefire to be announced as the harvesting season approaches.
The situation on the Contact line has degraded recently. This morning, Kiev forces delivered massive artillery strikes on Dontesk using 122 mm artillery and leaving civilian infrastructure in a western suburb badly damaged.*ot
