Donetsk, Jun 21 – DAN. Prisoner exchange might take place in autumn 2019 if Kiev meets all necessary conditions, said DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.
“Our main condition is that the people (to be exchanged) are legally cleared. The clearance might take up to one-two months. If we fit in the timeframe we could have an exchange organized this autumn.”
Morozova said that the Republic is to do its utmost to carry out the swap and expects symmetrical actions of the Ukrainian side.
Another round of the Minsk talks took place in Minsk on June 19. The humanitarian subgroup agreed to exchange information on POWs and harmonize exchange lists.
The latest swap took place in late 2017. *ot
